Maybe it's a good idea to tell in this forum what things / places you most definetely want to see. This in order to create a Super San Francisco Schedule. I've talked about Six Flags SF with Mark K. already. Maybe there are more who want to go there.

I've got three important things to check out: Six Flags SF, the Giants en the SF night Life (bachelor Party San Francisco style????). This does not include the standard must see places in SF (Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge, etc. etc.)

Yeah I got a couple of things I would like to see during my stay in SF.

Redwood Room
Backflip
1015 Folsom
Detour (happy hour 2-8pm!!)
Kate O'Brien's
Top of the Mark (That's a sure visit!)
Mad dog in the Fog
The Mint (with karaoke for Leon)
Liquid
26 Mix
Casanova lounge (duh!)
El Rio (Rio-> as in Copacabana-> as in hot Brazillian chicks in their G-sting!!! Worth checking out!!)
Make-Out Room (after El Rio no further explenation necessary)
Endup (for the afterparty)

We're gonna do all of that for Mark's bachelor party. But don't say it out loud, because Mark doesn't know about it yet.

Well there is no Six Flags SF.... so you might have some trouble finding that. Smile

There is a Six Flags: Marine World, which is in Vallejo, CA. However, I recommend going to Paramount's Great America in Santa Clara, CA. Though, I guess it matters more on your preference. If you want to see animals, go to Six Flags: Marine World. If you want lots of rides, Great America is the place to go. Personally, I would go to Great America cause the rides are way better. My favorite is Top Gun, cause you get to go over the water, which is so awesome.. but anyway... that's my input.

You're the expert. I know Six Flags wasn't in SF, but i didn't know the name of the place. But I just want great rides. After riding Goliath in LA I'm totally addicted Laughing

For those of you who'd like to compare/check out both parks, you can find the Great America website at: http://pgathrills.com

I can only agree with my fiancÃ© (sorry, entertaining myself by saying that Very Happy

): recommending Great America. SixFlags MarineWorld is more like a Zoo with some rollercoasters. Besides, I also got stuck in a rollercoaster at MarineWorld last year... so basically you should just NOT GO THERE!! Smile

If you're in the LA area, then you should really consider going to SixFlags, cause that park is just freaking awesome!! Very Happy

One more thing: you should check out opening hours for the places you're planning to visit. Since it's the end of August, some places are closing during weekdays and are only open in the weekends.

For instance: Great America is NOT open on August 22-26, so you should go there earlier in the week that your in SF (just DON'T go on the 21st! Smile

Oh yeah.. I forgot about you getting stuck. Considering how tall your friends are.. they probably should go to Great America. Wouldn't be too fun if all of them got stuck on that ride. Very Happy
